Robert L. Schaffer formed Dartmouth Capital Corp. (DCC), as a Division of the Dartmouth Group in 1987, to help small to medium size companies with their financing requirements and provide business advisory services to their management. He is the President of this company and is instrumental in designing financial programs that meet the needs of their clients. Mr. Schaffer has a well-rounded background in the financial business and various other industries. Prior to the formation of Dartmouth Capital Corp., he was co-owner and officer of several manufacturing companies. Currently he serves on several advisory boards for his client's businesses. He holds an MBA Degree from Drexel University and a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University.
Today he and his staff continues to be active as financial advisors and intermediaries, with a primary focus on Corporate Finance, Commercial Real Estate Financing, Financing for the Health Care Industry and Equipment Leasing.
DCC has various sources of capital for the following purposes: business expansion capital;
working capital lines; new product financing; management buy-outs; purchase of fixed
assets, such as equipment and buildings; debt restructuring and other acceptable business
requirements; commercial real estate purchases and refinancing of most income producing
properties and loans for Health Care Providers such as Physicians, Hospitals, Clinics,
DME's etc. Usually, these loans are Asset-Based, requiring acceptable collateral. The Loan
Provider may require personal guarantees depending on the client's credit condition, type
of business and quality of financials. Private investment capital is available for
exciting opportunities with a minimum investment of $1.0 million. International projects
have a minimum of $5.0 million.
